  • Do I have to be vegan to book a consultation?
    Definitely not! You do not have to be vegan to book a consultation. I consult people with many different dietary backgrounds.
  • How is the online service conducted?
    Online Telehealth consultation are conducted via video calls. You will be sent a link prior to your appointment. Telephone consultations are available upon request if desired.
  • Do you offer Medicare Rebates?
    Yes, if you are referred by your GP and have a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM), you will be eligible for Medicare rebates of $58.30 per appointment, for a maximum of 5 appointments per year. CDM plans are available to those with chronic health condition at the discretion of your GP. Please discuss your eligibility for a Medicare CDM plan with your GP. The fees for patients with CDM plans are as follows: Initial Consultation (45-60 minutes): $150 with a Medicare rebate of $58.30 (Out of pocket fee: $91.70) Review Consultation (20-30mins): $90 with a Medicare rebate of $58.30 (Out of pocket fee: $31.70)
  • Do you offer Private Health fund rebates?
    Yes, Private Health fund rebates may be avaliable to you depending on your extras cover with your Health Insurer. If you wish to check directly with your health fund to see if you are eligible for a rebate, please refer to item codes 301 and 302 for initial and review Telehealth consultations. You will be provided with an receipt immediately after your appointment so you are able to claim directly with your health fund.
  • Do you see Eating Disorder Clients?
    Unfortunately Melissa is unable to take on any Eating Disorder patients at this stage.
  • Do you see infants and children?
    Unfortunatly I am unable to see infants at this stage, however I do see children aged 6 years and over.
  • Is there communication between consults?
    Yes, if desired communication can occur between sessions via email or Instagram. This is included within the service price.
  • How do I pay for my consultation?
    Consult fees are fully payable upon booking a session.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Failure to attend your appointment will also incur a 100% cancellation fee. This is due to the preparation time involved in planning for our appointment, as well as patient waiting times for appointments. Individual circumstances will be considered.
