DIABETES

Pre Diabetes:

Pre-diabetes is when your blood glucose levels are higher than normal but not yet high enough to be diagnosed as diabetes.

Type 2 Diabetes:

Type 2 Diabetes is a  chronic condition that affects the way the body processes blood sugar (glucose). With type 2 diabetes, the body either doesn't produce enough insulin, or it resists insulin. Without insulin doing its job, glucose (sugar) builds up in the blood leading to high blood glucose levels which can lead to complications.

Gestataional Diabetes (GDM):
GDM is a type of diabetes that occurs during pregnancy. It is diagnosed when higher than normal blood glucose levels first appear during pregnancy.

HIGH CHOLESTEROL

Cholesterol is a waxy, fat-like substance necessary to make hormones and vitamin D. Your body produces cholesterol, and it’s also in some foods.

Our body uses cholesterol to build cells, but too much can put you at risk of heart disease.

High cholesterol can lead to fatty deposits developing in the arteries. This causes the vessels to narrow and they can eventually become blocked, which can lead to heart disease and stroke.

HYPERTENSION
(HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE)

High blood pressure can occur when the force of the blood against your arteries is too high. This can increase the workload on the heart and can damage the lining of your blood vessels. It may eventually lead to health problems, such as heart disease.
